Disclaimer:   In order to perform the routines 'The Digital Billet Peek' and 'An Image of Intuition', a purchase of Shameer Salim's 'Hydra' app will have to be made over at Ellusionist.com. A billet-based version of 'An Image of Intuition' is also included in this work and most of the subtleties for 'The Digital Billet Peek' can be applied to billet and prop-less name divinations.

“Christopher’s out-of-the-box thinking has taken this popular prediction app and turned it into the perfect peek for anything you want! Drawings, countries, names… literally the possibilities are huge! No longer will I be obsessed with carrying billets everywhere I go!”
Daniel John

‘Digital Mentalism’ is a new series of booklets by Christopher Parrish sharing his avant-garde approaches to using popular Magic apps.
Christopher believes that many of the apps released to the community are trapped by trivial effects and has written his ‘Digital Mentalism’ series in hopes of expanding what these apps are truly capable of!

The first volume of his ‘Digital Mentalism’ series opens with a foreword from legendary app developer and performer, Shameer Salim!

The Digital Billet Peek: Convert your Instagram profile into a peek device, allowing you to peek and divine anything your participants are thinking of! No need to purchase earbuds, smartwatches, or additional add-ons for ‘Hydra’!

Also contained in this first chapter of ‘Digital Mentalism’ is Christopher’s presentation and justification for having his participants Google the names of people they care about!

An Image of Intuition: This may be one of the most aesthetically clean versions of the Spectator as Mind-Reader premise on the market! A chosen spectator is instructed to focus on an ancient symbol designed to enhance human intuition. After contemplating the occult symbol, the chosen spectator is able to accurately divine the thoughts of another participant! No psychological forces or whisper ploys are used! From the audience’s perspective, the performer is simply facilitating the experience, and at no point is it made obvious that the performer knows the participants’ thoughts too!

Rather than package these two routines together into a booklet and release it, Christopher unveils many other effects and subtleties that can be easily integrated into other forms of Mentalism, ones in which the use of apps is unnecessary! One such example is a variant of ‘An Image of Intuition’ that uses a small stack of billets; no apps necessary!

Structuring Divinations: This chapter comes right after ‘The Digital Billet Peek’ routine and covers two topics:

‘Fail without Failing’ (titled Tangent #1) is an essay detailing how Christopher scripts most of his material, allowing his demonstrations to be seen as a success to the audience even if the deceptive method(s) fails.

‘Hits for Free’ (titled Tangent #2) is an essay detailing a modality for Mentalism, allowing you the potential to divine the EXACT thoughts in someone’s mind! No billets, apps, psychological forces, or any deceptive methods are used for this; simply live your life as a mind-reader and get ready to co-create miracles with those you meet!

These two essays are easily worth the price of this first volume!

With Christopher Parrish's 'Digital Mentalism' series in your library, be prepared to wipe the dust off of the Magic apps on your phone!
